Sheep
Sheep or domestic sheep (''Ovis aries'') are domesticated, ruminant mammals typically kept as livestock. Although the term ''sheep'' can apply to other species in the genus ''Ovis'', in everyday usage it almost always refers to domesticated sheep. Borrego (horse)
Borrego (foaled May 17, 2001 in Kentucky, United States) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. Borrego was bred to sell by a partnership Jon Kelly, Ralls and Foster LLC, Brad Scott and C. Beau Greeley. The partnership twice bought Borrego back at auction when bidding did not reach the reserve price set by the partnership. He was campaigned by Lexington-native C. Beau Greely throughout his 20 race career, which included victories in a pair of Grade 1 races and a start in the prestigious Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. Racing career 2004: Two-Year-Old Season Borrego's career as a racehorse began in October 2003. Being by the Irish sire El Prado, a sire known for producing both turf and dirt runners, trainer C. Anza-Borrego Desert State Park (, '' AN-zə bə-RAY-goh'') is a California State Park located within the Colorado Desert of southern California, United States. The park takes its name from 18th century Spanish explorer Juan Bautista de Anza and ''borrego'', a Spanish word for sheep. Borrego Valley Airport is a county-owned public airport three miles east of Borrego Springs, in San Diego County, California, United States. Facilities The airport covers at an elevation of 520 feet (158 m). Its one runway (8/26) is 5,011 x 75 ft (1,527 x 23 m) asphalt. In 2004 the airport had 22,000 aircraft operations, average 60 per day: 99.9% general aviation and 0.1% military. 28 aircraft were then based at the airport: 64% single-engine, 7% multi-engine, 7% helicopter and 21% ultralight. Attractions The International Aerobatic Club has a practice and competition area just north of the airport. The area was designated in 1976 and has a waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration. ''Borrego'' is 2022 American survival-crime-thriller film written and directed by Jesse Harris. The film stars Lucy Hale, Leynar Gomez, Nicholas Gonzalez, Olivia Trujillo, and Jorge A. Jimenez. The film is about a kidnapped botanist working in the desert of California. The film was released in theaters and on demand on January 14, 2022, by Saban Films. It was later released on Netflix on May 14, 2022, and reached the Global Top 10 the first week of release. The ''Borregos Salvajes ITESM'' (in English: Wild Rams) is the name of all the cultural, artistic and sports teams that represent the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) in various disciplines, such as sports, theatre, music and leadership representatives. Carla Borrego
Carla Borrego (born 11 November 1983), also known as Carla Williams and Carla Williams-Borrego, is a former Jamaica netball international. She was a member of the Jamaica team that won the bronze medal at the 2003 World Netball Championships. She subsequently switched to women's basketball, playing for Broward Seahawks and Miami Hurricanes. In 2009, after returning to netball, Borrego began playing for Adelaide Thunderbirds in the ANZ Championship. She was a prominent member of the Thunderbirds teams that won the 2010 and 2013 titles. She has also played for Sirens in the Netball Superleague and for Garville in the Netball South Australia Premier League.
