Born To Be A Star (TV Series)
''Born to Be a Star'' is a reality-singing competition produced by TV5 and Viva Entertainment. It was one of the first of many co-productions of TV5 with Viva. The program started on February 6, 2016, and aired every Sunday nights on the same channel. The second season of the program started on January 30, 2021, and aired every Saturday nights on the channel. The idea was conceived by then-TV5 Entertainment Chief Strategist Vic del Rosario. In early 2010, del Rosario planned to launch BTBAS with Viva talent Sarah Geronimo and the newest ''Kapatid'' personality at the time, Willie Revillame as hosts. The later came to fruition when del Rosario joined the ranks of TV5's entertainment department. The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film cameras, film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. ''Masked Singer Pilipinas'' is a Philippine reality singing competition television series broadcast on TV5 which premiered on October 24, 2020. It is an adaptation of the ''Masked Singer'' franchise and features celebrities singing covers of famous songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks that conceal their identities. Hosted by Billy Crawford, the program features several panelists who are given various clues regarding the celebrities' identities to guess who they could be after each performance. At the end of each episode, the panelists and the audience vote for their favorite singer and the least popular is eliminated, taking off their mask to reveal their identity.
