Bora (missile)
Bora is a tactical ballistic missile developed by Turkish company ROKETSAN. It has 610 mm diameter, a length of 8.0 m, a total weight of 2500 kg with a minimum range of 80 km and maximum range of 280 km. Its export version is called Khan. It was tested and entered service in May 2017. Deliveries were completed in early 2021. Design The Bora uses GPS+GLONASS aided INS / INS only guidance and its launcher is mounted on a VOLAT 8x8 truck. It carries a 470-kg high-explosive or fragmentation warhead. Accuracy is ≤10 m. Çakır is a new generation cruise missile that can be launched from land, sea and air platforms with a range of more than , designed by Turkish rocket and missile manufacturer Roketsan. It was introduced with the launch of Roketsan Ankara Lalahan facilities on 31 March 2022. On the same day, a video about the missile was shared on the Twitter account of Roketsan. The targets of Çakır include surface targets, land and surface targets close to the shore, strategic land targets, field targets and caves. LORA ("Long Range Attack") is a theater quasi ballistic missile produced in Israel. It has a range of and a CEP of when using a combination of GPS and TV for terminal guidance. It can be ship-launched from inside of a standard Intermodal container as well as land-launched. Prahaar ("Strike") is an Indian solid-fuel road-mobile tactical ballistic missile developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Prahaar is expected to replace the Prithvi-I short-range ballistic missile in Indian service. Development Prahaar is developed to provide a cost-effective, quick-reaction, all-weather, all-terrain, highly accurate battlefield support tactical weapon system. The development of the missile was carried out by the DRDO scientists in a span of less than two years.
