Boog Powell (outfielder)
Herschel Mack "Boog" Powell IV (born January 14, 1993) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics. Career Powell attended Mission Viejo High School in Mission Viejo, California, and Orange Coast College. Oakland Athletics The Oakland Athletics selected Powell in the 20th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut that season with the Arizona League Athletics. in 2013 he played for the Vermont Lake Monsters. Powell started 2014 with the Beloit Snappers. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. As an outfielder, their duty is to catch fly balls and ground balls then to return them to the infield for the out or before the runner advances, if there are any runners on the bases. As an outfielder, they normally play behind the six players located in the field. By convention, each of the nine defensive positions in baseball is numbered. The outfield positions are 7 (left field), 8 (center field) and 9 (right field). These numbers are shorthand designations useful in baseball scorekeeping and are not necessarily the same as the squad numbers worn on player uniforms. Vermont Lake Monsters
The Vermont Lake Monsters are a collegiate summer baseball team located in Burlington, Vermont. From 1994 to 2020, they were members of Minor League Baseball's New York–Penn League (NYPL). They play their home games at Centennial Field, one of the oldest minor league stadiums, on the campus of the University of Vermont. The team was previously located in Jamestown, New York, (as the Jamestown Expos) from 1977 to 1993. With Major League Baseball's reorganization of the minor leagues after the 2020 season, Vermont was not selected to continue in affiliated baseball. Daniel Andres Farquhar ( ; born February 17, 1987) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays and Chicago White Sox before retiring on July 31, 2019. Amateur career Farquhar attended Archbishop Edward A.
