Anne Bonny
Anne Bonny (8 March 1697 – disappeared April 1721), sometimes Anne Bonney, was an Irish pirate operating in the Caribbean, and one of the few female pirates in recorded history. What little that is known of her life comes largely from Captain Charles Johnson's 1724 book '' A General History of the Pyrates''. Bonny was born in Ireland around 1700 and moved to London and then to the Province of Carolina when she was about 10 years old. Around 1718 she married sailor James Bonny, assumed his last name, and moved with him to Nassau in the Bahamas, a sanctuary for pirates. It was there that she met Calico Jack Rackham and became his pirate partner and lover. She was captured alongside Rackham and Mary Read in October 1720. All three were sentenced to death, but Bonny and Read had their executions stayed because both of them were pregnant. Bonny Island
Bonny Island is situated at the southern edge of Rivers State in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. It is near Port Harcourt. Ferries are the main form of transport to and from the island. The local language spoken on Bonny Island is Ibani, which is an Ijaw dialect. Many natives also speak the Igbo language. Ibani Tribe
The Ibani tribe is a subgroup of the Ijaw ethnic group that lives in the Bonny and Opobo areas of Rivers State, Nigeria, on the Atlantic coast. Bonny town is the tribal seat of the Ibani which is located on the bight of Bonny River. Though the Ndoki dialect of Igbo language is spoken predominantly by residents of Bonny and Opobo, the Ibani dialect of Ijaw is native to the Ibani people. The neighbours of the Ibani include the Kalabari to the west, Okrika to the North and Andoni to the east. Bonny's development was also shaped by the tribe's close interaction with European traders. The Kingdom of Bonny was a major trading centerfrom the 16th century onwards they were known for the exportation of palm oil and palm kernel. Bonny Lakes are two small, shallow, mountain ponds located in the Eagle Cap Wilderness of Northeastern Oregon, United States. They are positioned in a large meadow on Aneroid Mountain known as Bonny Lakes basin, which is about two miles east of Dollar Lake. Together they are listed as the 13th highest lake in the Eagle Cap Wilderness at 7,840 ft (2,390 m). Trail Bonny Lakes can be accessed by either the Wallowa Lake Trailhead (10 miles of travel) or the Tenderfoot Trailhead (3.5 miles of travel). The lakes lie on Trail 1802. Bonny Sengupta (Born Anupriyo Sengupta; 10 August 1990) is an Indian Bengali film actor. His first two films, ''Borbaad'' and ''Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey'', were directed by Raj Chakraborty.
