Bonnie Toogood
Bonnie Toogood (born 8 December 1997) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Toogood was drafted by the Western Bulldogs with their second selection and eleventh overall in the 2017 AFL Women's rookie draft. She made her debut in the twenty-six point win against at VU Whitten Oval in the opening round of the 2018 season. Toogood was one of two round 2 nominees for the 2018 AFL Women's Rising Star award the following week after recording ten disposals and three tackles in her side's win over the . She was named one of the ' best players in the opening match of the 2021 AFL Women's season, kicking 2 goals and 1 behind, while also collecting 9 disposals and 3 marks. The South East Football Netball League was an Australian rules football competition, containing teams near the south eastern region of Victoria, Australia. The 8 teams were all part of the Casey Cardinia division of the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League (''MPNFL'') but this competition broke away to form a new league in 2015. The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Founded in 1877 as the Footscray Football Club, and based in West Footscray in the old City of Footscray west of Melbourne, the club won nine premierships in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) before gaining admission to the Victorian Football League (which became the AFL in 1990) in 1925. The 2020 AFL Women's season was the fourth season of the AFL Women's competition, the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia. The 2022 AFL Women's season was the sixth season of the AFL Women's competition, the highest-level senior women's Australian rules football competition in Australia.
