Boniface Nyema Dalieh
Boniface Nyema Dalieh (December 9, 1933 – April 25, 2014) was a Liberian Roman Catholic bishop. Ordained to the priesthood in 1965, he was named the Vicar Apostolic of Cape Palmas on December 17, 1973, and titular bishop of Talaptula. He received his episcopal consecration on 17 March 1974 from Thomas Joseph Brosnahan, with Francis Carroll and Anthony Saliu Sanusi as co-consecrators. On December 19, 1981, this Vicariate Apostolic was promoted as the Diocese of Cape Palmas The Diocese of Cape Palmas ( la, Dioecesis Capitis Palmensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Liberia. Thomas Joseph Brosnahan
The Most Reverend Thomas Joseph Brosnahan, Archbishop Emeritus, C.S.Sp. (30 March 1905 – 26 January 1996) was Archbishop of Freetown and Bo in Sierra Leone. Early life Born in Whitegate, Ireland, on 30 March 1905. He was educated in Rockwell College, Co. Tipperary. He played hurling for the school senior team. He entered Holy Ghost Missionary College, Kimmage Manor, Dublin to study for the Holy Ghost Fathers, and studied in Blackrock College. Ministry He entered the Holy Ghost Fathers and his ordination took place on 16 June 1929. His ministry in east Nigeria began in 1933, where he remained for 20 years. Bishop of Freetown and Bo He arrived in Freetown in 1953 to succeed Archbishop Ambrose Kelly, who had died the previous year. He was appointed Bishop of Freetown and Bo and began his ministry in Sierra Leone. The main focus of his work was education and he made tremendous progress in this area. Francis Carroll S.M.A. (12 June 1912 – 10 October 1980) was an Irish prelate of the Catholic Church from Northern Ireland who worked as a missionary priest and bishop in Liberia. Biography Francis Carroll was born in Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland, in the diocese of Dromore, on 12 June 1912. He studied at schools in Newry run by the Christian Brothers from 1916 to 1927, when he decided to become a missionary priest. He then studied until 1931 at the institutions of the Society of African Missions (SMA): Sacred Heart College, Ballinafad, County Mayo; St. Joseph's College, Wilton, Cork. He entered the SMA novitiate at Kilcolgan, County Galway, and was admitted to the SMA on 2 July 1933. He studied theology in the major seminary at Dromantine, County Down, until June 1937. Anthony Saliu Sanusi (2 January 1911 – 8 December 2009) was a Nigerian Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. Anthony Sanusi born in Iperu, Nigeria in 1911. Ordained a priest on 17 December 1944 in Lagos, Nigeria. He was Appointed bishop of new created diocese of Ijebu-Ode on 29 May 1969 and received his episcopal consecration on 1 August 1969.
