Bomberman Blitz
''Bomberman Blitz'' is a DSiWare game developed by Hudson Soft for the Nintendo DSi. It was released on October 7, 2009, in Japan, and in November of the same year in Europe and North America. The game was available for the Nintendo 3DS via the Nintendo eShop until the shop's closure in March 2023. Hudson Soft
was a Japanese video game company that released numerous games for video game consoles, home computers and mobile phones, mainly from the 1980s to the 2000s. Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (WFC) was an online multiplayer gaming service run by Nintendo to provide free online play in compatible Nintendo DS and Wii games. The service included the company's Wii Shop Channel and DSi Shop game download services. It also ran features for the Wii and Nintendo DS systems. Games designed to take advantage of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection offered Internet play integrated into the game. DSiWare Games
This is a list of games and applications, collectively known as DSiWare, for the Nintendo DSi handheld game console, available for download via the DSi Shop and unplayable on earlier DS models. An update released for the Nintendo 3DS in June 2011 added support for the Nintendo eShop service, which contained the DSi Shop's full library of DSiWare games (at the time) with the exception of certain games and applications. There were over 200 downloadable games available in North America as of August 2010. The Nintendo eShop is a digital distribution service powered by the Nintendo Network for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and by a dedicated online infrastructure for the Nintendo Switch.
