Bom Diggy is a song by British singers Zack Knight and Jasmin Walia. It was released on 24 August 2017 through the Artist Originals subsidiary of Saavn Music and YouTube. The main verses are sung in Punjabi and English, while the sampled chorus is in Bengali. The single was serviced to iTunes, Spotify and SoundCloud at the same day. A remix version by Dillon Francis was released on 31 January 2018. Later, Zack Knight made a remake of this song as "Bom Diggy Diggy" for the Indian film ''Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'', which was released on 8 February 2018 through T-Series, and produced by Knight and Yo Yo Honey Singh. Zack Knight (born 22 November 1991) is a British-Pakistani singer-songwriter. Formerly known by the stage name, Zeekay (before 2011), Knight is well-known for hit songs including Bom Diggy, Galtiyan, Nakhre and Enemy, the former appearing on a Bollywood comedy. Life and career Knight was born in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England, to a Pakistani-Punjabi mother and an Afro-Asian father. He moved to Haywards Heath in 1999, studying at Oathall Community College, and was present during the visit to the school by the then-Prince Charles. In sound and music, sampling is the reuse of a portion (or sample) of a sound recording in another recording. Samples may comprise elements such as rhythm, melody, speech, sounds or entire bars of music, and may be layered, equalized, sped up or slowed down, repitched, looped, or otherwise manipulated. They are usually integrated using hardware ( samplers) or software such as digital audio workstations.
