Bolot Beyshenaliyev
Bolot Beishenaliev (russian: Болот Бейшеналиев; June 25, 1937 — November 18, 2002) was a Soviet cinematographer, film and theater actor. People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan. Father of actor Aziz Beyshenaliyev. Beyshenaliyev studied at the studio of the Kyrgyz State Theater of Opera and Ballet, graduating in 1957, and at the Aleksandr Ostrovsky Institute of Theater Art in Tashkent until 1963. He subsequently worked as an assistant director at Kyrgyzfilm. The actor’s first starring role was of Duishen, in Andrei Konchalovsky’s ''The First Teacher'' (1965), adapted from a novella by Chingiz Aitmatov. Beyshenaliev portrayed the passionate Bolshevik whose unshakeable convictions border on fanaticism. Kemin District
Kemin ( ky, Кемин району, Kemin rayonu) is the northeast panhandle district of Chüy Region in northern Kyrgyzstan. Its area is , making it the largest district of Chüy Region, and its resident population was 48,360 in 2021. Its administrative headquarters is at Kemin. The district is located in the Chong-Kemin Valley, the Kichi-Kemin Valley and the eastern part of the Chüy Valley. It borders with Kazakhstan in the north, Chüy District in the west, and Issyk-Kul Region in the south and east. Topography The western part of the district is flat with altitudes 1000–1600 msl, and the eastern part is mountainous. Climate The climate is sharply continental with cold winters and cool summers; January temperatures averaging −5 °C to −10 °C, July +17 °C to +18 °C. ''The Castle'' (russian: Замок, Zamok) is a 1994 film directed by Aleksei Balabanov. It is the second notable screen version of Kafka’s unfinished novel '' The Castle''. It tells of an individual desperately trying to preserve his identity while struggling against sinister and invisible bureaucrats who rule the village from inside the titular castle. The picture is noted for costumes/sets design in bruegelian style, it won Best Art Direction and Best Costumes at the 1994 Nika Awards. Having lost her husband, who was imprisoned for stealing coal and was killed during the escape, Polina, the mother of six children, was left without any support. ''Hot Snow'' (russian: Горячий снег, Goryachi Sneg, italic=yes) is a 1972 Soviet war film, directed by Gabriel Yegiazarov. Plot In December 1942, during the Second World War, the soldiers of a Red Army anti-tank gun battery face the onslaught of General von Manstein's armored divisions trying to relieve the besieged 6th Army in Stalingrad. Eventually only seven of them survive, but the German tank breakthrough is stopped, and in the final episode General Lieutenant Bessonov (Georgiy Zhzhonov) awards each of the survivors with the Order of Red Banner saying: "Thank you for tanks knocked out. That's all I can do...". Production The film is an adaptation of Yuri Bondarev's eponymous 1969 novel, which was itself based on Bondarev's own wartime experience as a battery commander in Stalingrad. ''The Seventh Bullet'' (russian: Седьмая пуля, translit. ''Sedmaya pulya'') is a Soviet Ostern film of 1972 directed by Ali Khamraev. Plot In the same tradition as '' The White Sun of the Desert'' and '' The Bodyguard'', ''The Seventh Bullet'' is set after the Russian Civil War which ended in the 1920s when Soviet power established itself in Central Asia in the wake of the Basmachi rebellion. Despite this slight shift in emphasis and a post-war setting, ''The Seventh Bullet'' is closer to a typical war film than other Red Westerns because of a prominence of tactical resourcefulness in the development of the plot.
