Bolletjes Blues
''Bolletjes Blues'' (''Gangsta Blues'', also known as ''Bling!'') is a 2006 Dutch musical film with Negativ as the main character, Spike. Plot Spike is a young black man from Suriname who lives in the Bijlmermeer. He is a student first, but drops out. In order to have enough money to impress his white girlfriend Rosalie (Sophie van Oers) he joins a gang led by Delano (SugaCane) and commits various robberies. A related gang operates a cocaine smuggling route from Suriname to the Netherlands with mule (smuggling), mules Balloon swallower, swallowing cocaine pellets. As a mule, Spike is arrested on departure from Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport (Zanderij) near Paramaribo, and incarcerated at Santo Boma prison. Rosalie volunteers as mule also, in order to be able to visit Spike. The film ends after this visit, it does not show whether she actually swallows and smuggles cocaine pellets. Maurits Robert Delchot better known by his stage name Negativ (born 8 September 1982) is a Dutch rapper, actor and radio broadcaster of Surinamese origin from Amsterdam-Oost. Negativ became part of the rap formation D-Men. He has also acted films like ''Bolletjes Blues'' and '' Complexx''. He also has his own weekly radio show where he DJs for ''Juize FM'' on Fridays. Beginnings Maurits was interested at a very young age in rap. He started rapping with a bunch of friends, including Keizer and others. He took part in fNally's band H.S.S. (Hinderlijke Straat Schoften). Soon he became known in the underground rap circuit taking part in several MC battles. One big battle faced him with Yukkie B, another rapper from Amsterdam-Oost (East Amsterdam). Abid Tounssi, known by his stage name Salah Edin (born 23 June 1980), is a Dutch Moroccan ex-rapper and actor. Biography Salah Edin gained recognition as a rapper (first in Arabic, then also in Dutch) in the 1990s and broke through to a larger audience in 2006 when he signed with Dutch hip hop label TopNotch.
