Bokura No Machi De
"Bokura no Machi de" (僕らの街で in Japanese text, translates to "''In Our City''") is the third overall single by the Japanese boy band KAT-TUN, and the second from their second studio album, ''Cartoon KAT-TUN II You''. The first ballad to be released as a single, it is also the first commercially released song to not feature Jin Akanishi who took a sabbatical from the group in October 2006 to study in Los Angeles. KAT-TUN
is a Japanese boy band formed under Johnny & Associates (Johnny's) in 2001. The group's name was originally an acronym based on the first letter of each member's family name: Kazuya Kamenashi, Jin Akanishi, Junnosuke Taguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda, and Yuichi Nakamaru. Their debut on March 22, 2006 was marked by a tripartite release of a CD single, album and music DVD on their exclusive record label J-One Records. Since then, all of their single, album and music DVD releases have debuted at number one on the ''Oricon'' music and DVD charts. Cartoon KAT-TUN
was a Japanese variety show hosted by KAT-TUN, a Japanese boy band formed by Johnny & Associates. The show began airing on April 4, 2007, and ended on March 24, 2010. It aired every Wednesday from 11:55 pm to 12:26 am on NTV for 3 years. The theme song for the first season of the show was "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne, Shelter by Corrinne May for the second season and Come On Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners for the third season. Season 1 Segments 100Q This is the main segment of the show where the guest fills out a questionnaire with 100 questions before the show. The questions and answers are displayed on a rotating ring in front of KAT-TUN and the guest during the show. Tomoya Nagase
is a Japanese singer-songwriter, actor, and model. He was a member of Tokio, a Johnny & Associates musical group. He was the primary vocalist, in addition to playing the guitar alongside Tokio's leader, Shigeru Joshima. Career As an artist He was inspired by bands Hikaru Genji and SMAP to answer a recruiting call of Johnny & Associates and was accepted. In 1992, he played several stage plays (''Playzone'' and ''Mask'') together with other Tokio members. He first played tambourine during Tokio's early performances as SMAP's background dancers. Tokio is a Japanese rock/ pop band formed by Johnny & Associates that debuted in 1994. It is made up of three men who were signed with Sony Music Entertainment from 1994 to 2001, with Universal Music Japan from 2001 to 2008, and are now signed under J Storm, a label owned by Johnny & Associates. In addition to their activities as a band, the members of Tokio also act in dozens of dramas and host variety programmes, both as a group and individually. The group's name "Tokio" was the old English romanization for Japan's capital Tokyo, and remains the current transliteration in several European languages.
