Boheyat
Boheyat or Abu Hayat (c. 1514 – October 1529) was the third Sultan of Ternate in Maluku, whose largely nominal reign lasted from 1521 to 1529. In his time the Portuguese strengthened their positions in Ternate. Accession Boheyat, or Abu Hayat, was born to Sultan Bayan Sirrullah and his main consort, a daughter of Sultan al-Mansur of Tidore. He was only a minor when his father passed away in 1521, allegedly poisoned. Before his death the old Sultan had instructed his consort to keep the friendship with the Portuguese, of whom some had stayed on Ternate since 1512. The Portuguese seafarers were in an expansive phase and kept the vital trading city Melaka since 1511. The enormous potential profits in the spice trade made Maluku interesting for a permanent establishment. Bayan Sirrullah
Bayan Sirrullah (d. 1521) was the second Sultan of Sultanate of Ternate, Ternate in Maluku Islands, Maluku. He is also known as Abu Lais (in Portuguese sources, Boleife) or Kaicili Leliatu. He ruled from perhaps 1500 to 1521, and is important as the first east Indonesian ruler who made contact with the encroaching Portuguese people, Portuguese. Historical position Bayan Sirrullah was the eldest son of the first Sultan of Ternate, Zainal Abidin of Ternate, Zainal Abidin, and a woman from ''soa'' Marsaoli. According to a later account, his reign started in the year 1500. Islam had been accepted by the local elites of North Maluku in the second half of the 15th century, as a consequence of the importance of Muslim traders in the archipelago. Dayal Of Ternate
Dayal also known as Hidayatullah (c. 1515 – December 1536) was the fourth Sultan of Ternate in Maluku. He had a short and largely nominal reign between 1529 and 1533 before fleeing Ternate due to Portuguese pressure. He later tried to create an anti-Portuguese alliance among the kings in North Maluku, but was mortally wounded in battle against the Europeans. Hostage with the Portuguese Dayal was the son of Sultan Bayan Sirrullah. His mother was a daughter of Sultan al-Mansur of Tidore. When his older full brother Boheyat passed away in 1529, Dayal was put on the throne. He was still adolescent, and his older half-brother Kaicili Darwis acted as regent. Sultan Al-Mansur (c. 1475 - 1526) was the second Sultan of Tidore in Maluku islands, who reigned from at least 1512 until 1526. Certain legends associate him with the beginnings of Tidore's rule over the Papuan Islands and western New Guinea. During his reign the first visits by Portuguese and Spanish seafarers took place, which led to grave political and economic consequences for the societies of eastern Indonesia. The Sultanate of Bacan (كسلطانن باچن) was a state in Maluku Islands, present-day Indonesia that arose with the expansion of the spice trade in late medieval times. It mainly consisted of the Bacan Islands (Bacan, Kasiruta, Mandioli, etc.) but had periodical influence in Ceram and the Papuan Islands. It fell under the colonial influence of Portugal in the 16th century and the Dutch East India Company (VOC) after 1609. Bacan was one of the four kingdoms of Maluku (Maloko Kië Raha) together with Ternate, Tidore and Jailolo, but tended to be overshadowed by Ternate. Ternate is a city in the Indonesian province of North Maluku and an island in the Maluku Islands.
