Bobby Shou Wood (born November 15, 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a striker for Major League Soccer club New England Revolution. Youth and early career Wood was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a mother with partial Japanese ancestry and a father with African American ancestry. He began his youth career in 1999 with Powder Edge SC, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. He moved to California in 2005 to play with the Irvine Strikers. Club career Wood relocated to Germany in July 2007 to join the academy of 1860 Munich. 1860 Munich On January 29, 2011, Wood made his professional debut coming on in the 82nd minute as a substitute during a 2. Robert Harry Wood (January 14, 1916 – October 22, 1973) was an American football offensive tackle/defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) who played for the Chicago Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. Robert P. Wood (1892 – August 1928) was a Scottish professional footballer who played in the Scottish League for Falkirk as an inside left. Personal life Wood served as a private in McCrae's Battalion of the Royal Scots during the First World War. He was wounded during the course of his service.
