Bobby Livingston
Robert James "Bobby" Livingston (born September 3, 1982) is a former professional baseball player who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners and Cincinnati Reds. Amateur career Livingston was originally enrolled at Estacado High School before transferring to Trinity Christian High School in Lubbock, Texas, for his final year of school. In 2001, he pitched for the Bethesda Big Train. He had originally signed to play college baseball for the hometown Texas Tech Red Raiders before he was drafted. Professional career Seattle Mariners Livingston was selected by Seattle Mariners in the 4th round (129th overall) of 2001 Major League Baseball Draft. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Buffalo Bisons (known colloquially as the Herd) are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. The Bowie Baysox are a Minor League Baseball team located in Bowie, Maryland. They are the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and play in the Eastern League.
