Bob Quinn Lake (British Columbia)
Bob Quinn Lake is an unincorporated community in northwestern British Columbia, Canada. Previously owned and operated by the Mitchell family who sold and moved to Carstairs. It is located along the Stewart-Cassiar Highway (Highway 37) along Bob Quinn Lake, about north of Kitwanga and south of Dease Lake. Both the locality and the lake are named after Robert Quinn, an area old timer and one-time lineman on the Yukon Telegraph Line. Carstairs
Carstairs (, Scottish Gaelic: ''Caisteal Tarrais'') is a village in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Carstairs is located east of the county town of Lanark and the West Coast Main Line runs through the village. The village is served by Carstairs railway station, which is served by the Caledonian Sleeper to and from London Euston. Carstairs is best known as the location of the State Hospital. Carstairs is applied to the places Carstairs Village and the village of Carstairs Junction where the railway station is situated. The two places are two completely different villages divided by of land, a parkland area (Monteith Park) and the railway line. Kitwanga
Kitwanga or Gitwangak or Gitwangax ("people of the place of rabbits" in the Gitxsan language) is located where the Kitwanga River runs into the Skeena River in British Columbia. A long-standing village before contact, the village is within Gitwangak Indian Reserve No. 1. There is recreational salmon fishing (chinook, coho, pink, sockeye and steelhead). The community is governed by a local band office. As of the current census the population of Kitwanga is approximately 480 and is primarily a small town made up of patriarchal families like the Ranahans Harris, fallers Faulkners Daniels and the Spooners. Dease Lake
Dease Lake is a small community located in the Cassiar Country of the Northern Interior of British Columbia, Canada. It is located a few hours south of the Yukon border on Stewart–Cassiar Highway (Highway 37) at the south end of the lake of the same name. Dease Lake is the last major centre before the Alaska Highway while driving north bound, and also the junction to Telegraph Creek and the Grand Canyon of the Stikine. Dease Lake Indian Reserve No. 9 is located nearby and is under the governance of the Tahltan First Nation band government. The town sits astride a drainage divide separating the basins of the Dease River (to the north) from that of the Tanzilla (to the south), a tributary of the Stikine.
