Bob Olson (Born May 1948) is a former American football player born in Superior, Wisconsin. He attended Notre Dame where he played linebacker between 1968 and 1969 and became team captain. In the 1970 Cotton Bowl Classic game against the University of Texas at Austin, he was selected as the defensive MVP. American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen.
