Robert G. Morgan (born 1947) is an American former baseball player and coach. As a player at Ohio University (Athens, OH) he never lost a game in his collegiate history. Robert was then drafted out of Ohio University to the Detroit Tigers. He served as the head baseball coach at the College of Wooster from 1976 to 1981, Kent State University from 1982 to 1983, and Indiana University Bloomington from 1984 to 2005, compiling a career college baseball coaching record of 1074-583-6. Robert Francis Morgan (June 28, 1930 – October 10, 1991) was an American football offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins. He played college football and college lacrosse as a defenseman for the Maryland Terrapins at the University of Maryland and was drafted in the eighth round of the 1953 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. Bob played several years in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Calgary Stampeders. He was a fixture in Washington, D.C., as food and beverage manager for the Hotel Continental. Reverend Robert (Bob) Harman Morgan (28 October 1928 – 23 November 2011) was a Church in Wales vicar and Labour Party politician, who became leader of South Glamorgan County Council. He was the father of Labour politician Eluned Morgan. Early life and education Morgan was born on 28 October 1928 and grew up in Tremorfa, Cardiff, until the Second World War forced his family to evacuate to Aberdare where he went to the local grammar school. After the war he returned to Cardiff and, after spending National Service in the RAF, got a job as an insurance clerk. With ambitions to become a social worker he took two A-levels in six months, before graduating in Politics and Economics at University College, Cardiff. He went on to the theological college at Mirfield in Yorkshire before being ordained in 1957 to a curacy at St Augustine's Church, Penarth where he served until 1961. Robert Bernard Morgan (born August 7, 1940) is a former Canadian football running back. He graduated from University of New Mexico and played in the Continental Football League with the Toronto Rifles from 1965–67 and five games with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League in 1967.
