Bob Long
Robert Andrew Long (born June 16, 1941) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League who played in the 1960s and 1970s and earned two Super Bowl rings. He attended suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh's Washington Township High School (near Apollo, Pennsylvania, Apollo), and Wichita State University. His seven-year pro-career was spent with the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Redskins. He was a contributing player of both of Vince Lombardi's teams which won Super Bowl I and Super Bowl II. Long was inducted into the State of Kansas Hall of Fame in 1965 and the Wichita State Hall of Fame in 1972. Recently, in 2008 he was added to the Western Chapter of Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. After being a Third-team All American at Wichita State University, Bob was drafted in the fourth round by the Green Bay Packers in 1964. Robert Wendell Long (born February 24, 1934) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams, Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of California at Los Angeles. Early years Long attended South Pasadena High School, before moving on to the University of California at Los Angeles. In 1954, he was a part of the team that shared the national championship with Ohio State University. Professional career Los Angeles Rams Long was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the second round (18th overall) of the 1955 NFL Draft. Bobby Long (born Robert Thomas Long, 18 September 1985) is a British singer-songwriter, whose largely acoustic body of work has its roots in folk. Born in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England, he moved at the age of four to Calne, Wiltshire, where he grew up, though he still holds deep roots in Wigan. He currently resides in New York. Early life Long learned cello and guitar and started writing songs when he was 18. His earliest performing experience was as lead guitarist in a local grunge band. Long moved to London in 2005 to attend London Metropolitan University where he studied sound and media for films. Robert B. Long is an American politician who has served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates from the sixth district since 2015. Early life and career Long was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 11, 1957. He was raised by a single mother. Long attended Essex Community College and the Community College of Baltimore County before becoming a GRI-designated realtor for Covenant Realty. He is also a former union truck driver. Long is a member of the Maryland Association of Realtors, the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, the Henrietta Lacks Legacy Group, and the National Rifle Association of America. Robert Joseph "Bobby Joe" Long (October 14, 1953 – May 23, 2019) was an American serial killer and rapist who was executed by the state of Florida for the murder of Michelle Denise Simms. Long abducted, sexually assaulted, and murdered at least ten women in the Tampa Bay area in Florida during an eight-month period in 1984. He released 17-year-old Lisa McVey after 26 hours. McVey provided critical information to the police that enabled them to arrest Long. Long was also a serial rapist. Long was sentenced to death for two of the ten murders he was suspected of committing. He was executed by lethal injection on May 23, 2019.
