Bob Lee (Australian Footballer)
Robert William Lee (31 January 1927 – 10 June 2001) was an Australian rules footballer and administrator who played with West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). He also represented the South Australian cricket team at first-class level in the Sheffield Shield. Career Lee managed 96 senior appearances for West Adelaide but it was his post playing contribution to South Australian football that he is remembered for. From 1966 to 1973 and then from 1979 to 1988 he served as the President of the West Adelaide Football Club. He was the SANFL's vice president in a long stint which began in 1981 and ended in 1999. Lee was also a League Director for 18 years, the SANFL Vice Patron, on the Management Committee for 12 years, Chairman of the SANFL Umpires Board for three years and served on the South Australian Football Commission. Bob Lee (baseball)
Robert Dean Lee (November 26, 1937 – March 25, 2020) was an American closer and spot starter in Major League Baseball who played from 1964 through 1968 for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles/California Angels, and the Cincinnati Reds. Listed at , , Lee batted and threw right handed. He was nicknamed ″Moose″, ″Horse″ and ″Big Bob″. Born in Ottumwa, Iowa on November 26, 1937, Lee graduated from Bellflower High School in Bellflower, California. He was originally signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates organization as an amateur free agent in 1956 and also pitched eight years in the Minor leagues. Lee entered the majors in 1964 with the Angels, pitching one inning of scoreless relief with two strikeouts in a 6–4 loss to the Washington Senators at D.C. Stadium. He finished his rookie season with a 6–5 record and a 1.51 earned run average in 64 games, setting a personal record with 111 strikeouts. Bob Lee (born 2 February 1953) is an English former professional footballer who played for Sunderland as a forward. Club career He began his career with Leicester City in 1971 and made 63 league appearances with 17 goals. While at Leicester he had a short loan spell with Doncaster Rovers from 1974 to 1975 making 14 appearances with four goals. Lee signed for Sunderland in 1976 and made his debut on 2 October 1976 against Everton in a 1–0 defeat at Roker Park. He made 109 league appearances in total, scoring 32 goals. After playing for Sunderland he signed for Bristol Rovers in 1980 and went on to make 23 appearances, and scoring two goals. Robert Melville Lee (born August 7, 1946) is a former professional American football quarterback and punter. He played college football for Arizona State University and the University of the Pacific. He was selected 441st overall in the 1968 NFL/AFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He was nicknamed "General" Bob Lee during his brief period of success with the Atlanta Falcons. After his stint with the Falcons he rejoined the Vikings before ending his fourteen year career with the Los Angeles Rams. Early life Lee was born in Columbus, Ohio. Bob Lee (December 20, 1979 – April 4, 2023) was an American businessman and software engineer who was best known for helping to create the financial service Cash App. He was the chief technology officer of Square and the chief product officer of MobileCoin. On April 4, 2023, Lee was fatally stabbed in the Rincon Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. The San Francisco Police Department arrested Nima Momeni for Lee's killing on April 13, 2023. Cape Romano Dome House
The Cape Romano Dome House was an abandoned house consisting of six dome-shaped modules on stilts, located approximately offshore from Cape Romano Island, south of Marco Island, in the Ten Thousand Islands of Collier County, Florida. Cape Romano Dome house was built in 1982 by retired independent oil producer Bob Lee. The home changed ownership several times, with the most recent ownership by the state of Florida since 2018. On September 28, 2022, the structures became submerged underwater due to Hurricane Ian. Bob Ley
Robert A. Ley ( ; born March 16, 1955) is an American sports anchor and reporter, best known for his work at ESPN. A multiple Emmy Award-winner, he was the longest-tenured on-air employee of the network, having joined ESPN just three days after the network's 1979 launch and retiring from the network effective at the end of June 2019. Early life and education Ley grew up in Bloomfield, New Jersey, where he attended Bloomfield High School. He got his start in broadcasting as a sportscaster and program director at WSOU at Seton Hall University, and interned as a production staffer at WOR-AM in New York City.
