Bob Dettmer
Robert P. "Bob" Dettmer (born March 1, 1951) is a Minnesota politician and member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, he represents District 39A, located in the northeastern part of the Twin Cities metro area, which includes Chisago County, Minnesota, Chisago and Washington County, Minnesota, Washington counties. Early life, education, and career Dettmer attended Bemidji State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education in 1973. He also holds of Masters Of Education degree from St. Thomas University. He subsequently became a teacher in Forest Lake, Minnesota, Forest Lake at Forest Lake High School, where he taught physical education and coached wrestling until 2007. Ray Vandeveer
Ray Vandeveer (born July 8, 1953) is a Minnesota politician and former member of the Minnesota Senate representing District 52, which included portions of Anoka County, Minnesota, Anoka and Washington County, Minnesota, Washington counties in the northeastern Twin Cities metropolitan area. A Republican Party of Minnesota, Republican, he was first elected to the Senate in 2006, and was reelected in 2010. Before being elected to the Senate, Vandeveer was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 52A and, before the 2002 redistricting, the old District 51B. He was first elected to the House in a January 1998 special election after Representative Doug Swenson was appointed a district judge by Arne Carlson, Governor Arne Carlson.
