Robert Cameron (23 November 1932 – 21 February 2022) was a professional footballer who played for Queens Park Rangers, Leeds United and Southend United. Playing career Cameron was a Scottish schoolboy international and joined Queens Park Rangers, where he scored 59 goals in 256 league appearances between 1950–51 and 1958–59. He was signed from Port Glasgow Rovers. He joined Leeds United in 1959 at a time when Leeds were struggling and were then relegated from the First Division at the end of the 1959–60 season. Cameron scored nine goals in 58 league appearances for Leeds, but his playing time became scarcer during the 1961–62 season and he joined non-league club Gravesend and Northfleet at the end of the season. Robert Graham Cameron (born 19 March 1963) is a former Australian state politician. He represented the electorate of Bendigo West in the Victorian Legislative Assembly. He served as the Minister for Police and Emergency Services and Minister for Corrections (2006-2010 in the third Bracks Ministry and the Brumby Government). Educated in Bendigo at government schools, Cameron also attended the University of Melbourne where he obtained a law degree. He practised as a solicitor in Bendigo from 1985 until he was first elected to Parliament in 1996. Robert "Bob" Cameron (December 18, 1927 – June 4, 1960) was an American stock car racing driver. He was a pioneer of the sport, competing in the inaugural year of the Strictly Stock division, which is now the NASCAR Cup series. Racing career Bob Cameron made two appearances in the NASCAR Grand National Series, with a best finish of sixth. He spent the majority of his career racing in the Modified division competing at the renowned tracks of New York, including Brewerton Speedway Monroe County Fairgrounds, Oswego Speedway, Vernon Fairgrounds and Weedsport Speedway. Cameron was the victor at the inaugural event at Spencer Speedway. Bob Cameron lost his life in a racing accident at the Lancaster Speedway on June 4, 1960. Robert "Bob" Cameron (born July 18, 1954) is a former Canadian football player who played 23 seasons (1980-2002) with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. Cameron was a quarterback at Acadia University. He won the Hec Crighton Trophy (most outstanding college football player in Canada). Cameron was drafted by the Edmonton Eskimos in the first round of the 1977 College Draft. He was converted to a punter with the Blue Bombers. Bob Cameron remains the CFL's all-time leading punter with 134,301 regular season punting yards. He was a CFL all-star 4 times, a divisional all-star 6 times, and helped the Bombers to three Grey Cup victories. In the 1988 Grey Cup Cameron was named the game's Most Valuable Canadian for his effective punting in windy conditions. Robert Macfarlane Cameron RIBA Deputy Lieutenant, DL (1860–1920) was a 19th/20th century Scottish architect, specialising first in public houses and later in cinemas. Life He was born on 23 July 1860 at 93 South Back of Canongate (now known as Holyrood Road) the son of Robert Cameron. He was educated at George Watson's College then was apprenticed as an architect to David Bryce at 131 George Street from 1875. He stayed with Bryce until 1881 then moved to the offices of Robert Matheson (architect), Robert Matheson, who was then the Clerk of Works for all Scotland. In 1882 he began assisting on the Prison Board for Scotland.
