Bo Nixon
Bowman "Bo" Nixon (born 25 July 1984) is a former college captain of Assumption College, Kilmore and Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood Football Club, Collingwood and Hawthorn Football Club, Hawthorn in the Australian Football League (AFL). Upon completion of his playing career, Nixon graduated with a bachelor of laws degree from Monash University and commenced practicing as a banking lawyer with international law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright. Nixon was drafted while at the Calder Cannons, but is originally from Yarrawonga Football Club, Yarrawonga. He didn't feature in the 2003 AFL season, when Collingwood were grand finalists, but made three appearances in 2004. The Yarrawonga Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Pigeons'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the town of Yarrawonga, Victoria located on the Murray River. Club history The Yarrawonga teams have been competing in the Ovens & Murray Football League since 1930. Prior to this the club had played in a line association that was based along the Benalla to Yarrawonga railway line. This association had frequent name changes dating back to 1889.
