Bluetree was a Northern Irish Contemporary Christian music, contemporary Christian band. The band is best known for its song "God of This City", which received international exposure when it was covered by Chris Tomlin on the ''God of This City (Passion album), Passion: God of This City'' and ''Hello Love (Chris Tomlin album), Hello Love'' albums. As an independent artist, Bluetree signed distribution agreements with Lucid Entertainment in the US and Kingsway in the UK & Europe for their album, ''God of this City''. History Bluetree originated in Belfast's Christian Fellowship Church (CFC) in 2004. Bluetree originally consisted of five members, with Pete Kernoghan joining later. While the band was travelling on a missions trip to Pattaya, Thailand, the poor conditions of the city became the inspiration for their song, "God of this City". 2nd Mile
2nd Mile was an American Christian rock and worship band from Gladwin, Michigan. It was founded in 2009 to provide worship music for local communities, but after several years of performances, the group now performs in venues, concerts and churches across the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. It features Dave Mead on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Audrey Mead on keyboard, Loren McLaughlin on bass guitar, Tenley McLaughlin on lead guitar and vocals, Brian Siler on drums and percussion, and Andrew Good as sound technician. 2nd Mile performed at the Big Ticket Festival of Gaylord, Michigan in 2013–2015 with Jeremy Camp, Newsboys, Chris Tomlin, and rapper Nate Feuerstein, who is also from Gladwin. Ratanak International
Ratanak International (previously The Ratanak Foundation) is a Christian charity founded by Brian McConaghy in 1989 that works exclusively in Cambodia helping the country rebuild after decades of revolution, civil war and genocide. Ratanak, which means 'precious gem' in Khmer, was an 11-month-old Cambodian baby that Brian McConaghy watched die as a result of a basic lack of medicine in a documentary he was shown in 1989. Since 1990 Ratanak has been working in Cambodia to help prevent such needless deaths. To help rebuild Cambodian society which the Khmer Rouge effectively dismantled in the 1970s, Ratanak has partnered on projects that have built schools, clinics and hospitals, opened orphanages, provided shelters for the elderly and AIDS victims, and initiated emergency programs in response to natural and man made disasters.
