Blue Story
''Blue Story'' is a 2019 British musical crime drama film written, directed, and narrated by Rapman (Andrew Onwubolu) through the medium of rap and starring Stephen Odubola and Micheal Ward, with Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Khali Best, Karla-Simone Spence, Richie Campbell, Jo Martin and Junior Afolabi Salokun in supporting roles. Serving as Rapman's feature directorial debut, the film is based on his 2014 YouTube series of the same name, which in turn is based on the real life gangs - the Peckham Boys and Ghetto Boys. The story follows best friends Marco (Ward) and Timmy (Odubola) who, from different areas of London (Peckham and Deptford), find themselves becoming enemies in a violent and insidious postcode war. Andrew Onwubolu , (born 6 June 1989), better known by his stage name Rapman, is a British rapper, record producer, screenwriter and film director. He is known for dealing socially conscious themes, as well as his uniquely vivid style of storytelling through the medium of rap. He made his debut with the ''Blue Story Trilogy'' (2013-2014), which he followed up with several charity music videos for SBTV including ''Hope'' (2015), ''Pay As You Go'' (2016) and ''Promise'' (2017). Ghetto Boys
The Ghetto Boys is a street gang based in New Cross, Lewisham and Deptford, South London. The gang was formed on the Woodpecker/Milton Court Estate and its members are primarily of Black British origin. Most of the members are from the London Borough of Lewisham and some are thought to be as young as 12. Some members of the gang are known to carry firearms such as MAC-10 machine pistols. The gang was associated with the colour blue, due to the local usage of blue by the Lewisham city council. The gang had a notably violent conflict with the Peckham Boys during the 2000s, but by the mid-late 2000s the Ghetto Boys were in-decline and would end up splintering. Younger members of the gang formed "Shower" and later became associated with the Tottenham Mandem, collectively calling themselves "Shower Syndicate".
