Blue Line (VTA)
The Blue Line is a light rail line in Santa Clara County, California, and part of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail system. It serves 26 stations entirely in the city of San Jose traveling between Baypointe and Santa Teresa stations, stopping at San Jose International Airport (via a bus connection), Downtown San Jose, San Jose State University, and the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose along the way. The line connects to Caltrain at Tamien. The Blue Line is one of three lines in the VTA Light Rail system; the other two being the Green Line and the Orange Line. Ohlone/Chynoweth Station
Ohlone/Chynoweth station is a light rail station on the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail system. The station is served by the system's Blue Line. Until the end of 2019, it served as the terminus of the little-used, stub Ohlone/Chynoweth–Almaden line, popularly known as the ''Almaden Shuttle''. It was part of the original ''Guadalupe Line'', the first segment of light rail from Santa Teresa to Tasman. The shuttle was replaced by the bus line. Caltrain
Caltrain (reporting mark JPBX) is a California commuter rail line serving the San Francisco Peninsula and Santa Clara Valley (Silicon Valley). The southern terminus is in San Jose at Tamien station with weekday rush hour service running as far as Gilroy. The northern terminus of the line is in San Francisco at 4th and King Streets. Caltrain has 28 regular stops, one limited-service weekday-only stop ( College Park), one weekend-only stop (Broadway), and one football-only stop (Stanford). While average weekday ridership in 2019 exceeded 63,000, impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have been significant: in August 2022, Caltrain had an average weekday ridership of 18,600 passengers. California's Great America, often shortened to Great America, is a amusement park located in Santa Clara, California. Owned and operated by Cedar Fair, it originally opened in 1976 as one of two parks built by the Marriott Corporation. State Route 85 (SR 85), known as the West Valley Freeway along its entire length, is a state highway which connects the cities of southern San Jose and Mountain View in the U.S. State of California. California State Route 87
State Route 87 (SR 87), known as the Guadalupe Freeway or referred to by the locals as Highway 87, is a north–south state highway in San Jose, California, United States. Before being upgraded to a freeway, it was Guadalupe Parkway (and some signs still refer to it that way). For most of its length, especially in Downtown San Jose, the highway follows the course of the Guadalupe River.
