"Blue Jeans" is the second single from the album ''Light & Magic'' by the music group Ladytron. A rockier version titled "Blue Jeans 2.0" featured on the mix compilation ''Softcore Jukebox''. The music video of "Blue Jeans" featured the band members and a drummer playing the song in a white room. The video was filmed in black and white with a blue tint added. Ladytron are a largely British electronic band formed in Liverpool in 1999. The group consists of Helen Marnie (lead vocals, synthesizers), Mira Aroyo (vocals, synthesizers), Daniel Hunt (synthesizers, guitar, vocals), and Reuben Wu (synthesizers). They have released six studio albums: ''604'' (2001), ''Light & Magic'' (2002), ''Witching Hour'' (2005), ''Velocifero'' (2008), ''Gravity the Seducer'' (2011) and ''Ladytron'' (2019) - the seventh, ''Time's Arrow'' is due in January 2023. It was released in the United States on 17 September 2002 by Emperor Norton and in the United Kingdom on 2 December 2002 by Telstar Records. Daniel Hunt
Daniel Hunt (born 25 July 1974) is an English musician, songwriter and producer. He is a founding member, principal songwriter and producer of the electronic band Ladytron. Biography Hunt met Reuben Wu in Liverpool in 1995 and formed Ladytron with him in 1999, along with Mira Aroyo and Helen Marnie. In 2003, Hunt set up the Liverpool club, Evol and subsequently collaborated in 2005 on the celebrated Korova bar in the city. In addition to the band, he also DJ's around the world both solo and with other band members. His vocals are featured in the Ladytron' songs "International Dateline" and "Versus". ''Softcore Jukebox'' is a compilation album put together by English electronic music band Ladytron. It was released on 7 October 2003 through Emperor Norton Records. It features different styles of music from rock to hip hop. It also includes two songs performed by Ladytron—the single remix of "Blue Jeans" renamed "Blue Jeans 2.0" and a cover of Tweet's "Oops Oh My".
