Bloomsburg Huskies
The Bloomsburg Huskies (formerly known as the Bloomsburg State Huskies) are the athletic teams that represent Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Huskies are members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for 18 of 19 varsity sports; as the wrestling team competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) as a member of the NCAA's Division I. The Huskies have been a member of the PSAC since its founding in 1951. Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania (Bloomsburg, BU or Bloom) is a campus of Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania and it is located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). The Kutztown Golden Bears are the sports teams that represent Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (pronunciation ryhmes with "Puts"), located in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Matt Feiler (born July 7, 1992) is an American football guard for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Bloomsburg (PA). Jahri Divine Evans (born August 22, 1983) is an American former football guard who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Bloomsburg. Johan Josef "John" Willis (born September 23, 1952) is an American-Israeli former basketball player. He played the guard position. The Southern Illinois Salukis are the varsity athletic teams representing Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The NAIA Wrestling Championship is the annual tournament to determine the national champions of NAIA men's collegiate wrestling in the United States and Canada. It has been held annually since 1958.
