Bloomfield is a community in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. It is located in Carleton County. Unincorporated area in the Parish of Wilmot. Located about 20 kilometers from Woodstock and about the same from the Centreville area. It is pretty much the way it's always been a small farming community and it is predominantly potatoes with some mixed farming and only one larger dairy farm. Religion The church in Bloomfield is the United Church of Canada and the cemetery located right there (in Route 550 and the Monticello, Maine Road) is called the Bloomfield United Church Cemetery. Woodstock is a town in Carleton County, New Brunswick, Canada on the Saint John River, 103 km upriver from Fredericton at the mouth of the Meduxnekeag River. It is near the Canada–United States border and Houlton, Maine and the intersection of Interstate 95 and the Trans-Canada Highway making it a transportation hub. Centreville is a village in Carleton County, New Brunswick, Canada. Statistics Canada reported the population to be 557 in 2016, which is a 2.8% increase from the 2011 population of 542. The mayor is Michael Stewart. Centreville is a small village, with approximately 550 residents as of 2013. It is located only two miles from the border of Maine, US, at the Bridgewater crossing. There are a few stores; Valufoods (formerly Freshmart) & Gramma's Restaurant & Bake Shop. New Brunswick Route 550
Route 550 is a long north–south secondary highway in the northwest portion of New Brunswick, Canada. The route starts at Route 103 (Main Street) in Woodstock on the banks of the Meduxnekeag River and the Saint John River. Until the intersection with New Brunswick Route 2, the Trans-Canada Highway, Route 550 is known as Connell Street. It then leaves the Woodstock commercial area and continues northeast, passing through Hartford, Briggs Corner, Lindsay, Lower Bloomfield, Bloomfield, and Carvell. The road turns east at Digby Corner, and takes a sharp turn to the north in Good Corner. The road then continues northeast towards the Canada–US border, passing through Long Settlement and Snow Settlement. The road ends at Route 110 in the community of Tracey Mills.
