Bloodwulf was an American superhero comics title and character created by Rob Liefeld. The character first appeared in the One-shot (comics), one-shot ''Darker Image''''Darker Image'' #1 (1993) in March 1993, published by Image Comics. The character later appeared in a Bloodwulf mini-series''Bloodwulf'' #1-4 (1995) from 1995 in four issues, illustrated by Daerick Gross Sr. He also appeared in a one-shot from 1995 entitled "Bloodwulf Summer Special"''Bloodwulf Summer Special'' #1 (1995) where he was pitted against Supreme (comics), Supreme. Fictional character biography Bloodwulf is an alien bounty hunter from the planet Luap'ur where he lives with his multiple wives and brood of children. He craves a life of action, however, and is always ready and willing to leave his quiet, domestic life behind for grand space adventures. Darker Image
''Darker Image'' was an American comic book published by Image Comics. The series was intended as 4-issue miniseries, serving as an introduction to three "grim and gritty" characters. The series, however, only had one published issue, published in March 1993. A gold logo incentive variant as well as the ‘platinum’ (black and white with silver foil logo) version of this issue exists. Each issue when new was polybagged with one of three trading cards, The Maxx, Bloodwulf and Deathblow. In 18th October 2021, a group of fans created a fanzine called ''Darkest Image'', a 200-page anthology series that feature several characters from the Image universe of the 1990s. All profits from the sale are donated to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. Lobo (DC Comics)
Lobo is a character appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. The Lobo character was created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen, and he first appeared in ''Omega Men'' #3 (June 1983). Lobo is an alien from the utopian planet of Czarnia, and he works as an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter. Lobo was first introduced as a hardened villain in the 1980s, but he soon fell out of use with writers. He remained in limbo until his revival as a bounty hunter with his own comic in the early 1990s. Writers attempted to use Lobo as a parody of the 1990s trend towards "grim and gritty" superhero stories, but he was instead enthusiastically accepted by fans of the trend. This popularity led to the character having a much higher profile in DC Comics stories from then on, as well as starring roles in various series in the decades since.
