Bloodpool
Bloodpool is a superhero team and a comic book series created by Rob Liefeld. The series was published by Image Comics in 1996 under Liefeld's Extreme Studios. The team's roster includes Rubble, Task, Seoul, Psilence, Wylder, and Fusion. The underage superheroes were recruited by the government for the eventual inclusion in the prestigious Youngblood (comics), Youngblood team. Team members Task (Ryan Orsini): A young super-soldier possessed of a powerful regenerative factor. Task's body has also been enhanced with cybernetics and genetic engineering granting him increased strength, speed, agility, and reflexes. He is an expert in various weapons. Patrick Lee (born June 28, 1975) is a Canadian comic book artist, publisher, former president, and co-founder of the now-defunct Dreamwave Productions. 2008-05-29. Biography After graduating high school at the age of 16, Lee began his career in the comic book industry by sending approximately 150 pages of sample artwork to uninterested Marvel and DC editors. It took over a year before he caught the attention of Image co-founder Rob Liefeld at a convention in Toronto, Canada in 1994. Four months later, he was hired by Image Comics and went to train at Extreme Studios. There, he learned a skill that would influence his art to a great degree: speed. Jo Duffy
Mary Jo Duffy (born February 9, 1954) is an American comic book editor and writer, known for her work for Marvel Comics in the 1980s and DC Comics and Image Comics in the 1990s. Biography A native of the New York City area, Duffy attended Wellesley College. As a young woman, she had letters published in Marvel Comics letter columns in the mid-1970s. Awesome Comics or Awesome Entertainment (also known as Awesome-Hyperwerks when briefly joined with Hyperwerks, Hyperwerks Entertainment) was an American comic book studio formed in 1997 by Rob Liefeld following his expulsion from Image Comics, a company he co-founded five years prior. ''Awesome Comics'' was the successor of Extreme Studios and Maximum Press, Liefeld's imprint (trade name), imprints at Image, and was followed by his new company Arcade Comics upon its closure in 2000. A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Rob Liefeld
Robert Liefeld (; born October 3, 1967) is an American comic book creator. A prominent writer and artist in the 1990s, he is known for co-creating the character Cable (comics), Cable with writer Louise Simonson and the character Deadpool with writer Fabian Nicieza. In the early 1990s, Liefeld gained popularity due to his work on Marvel Comics' ''New Mutants, The New Mutants'' and later ''X-Force''. In 1992, he and several other popular Marvel illustrators left the company to found Image Comics, which started a wave of comic books owned by their creators rather than by publishers. Image Comics
Image Comics is an American comic book publisher and is the third largest comic book and graphic novel publisher in the industry in both unit and market share. It was founded in 1992 by several high-profile illustrators as a venue for creator-owned properties, in which comics creators could publish material of their own creation without giving up the copyrights to those properties. Youngblood (comics)
Youngblood is a superhero team that starred in their self-titled comic book, created by writer/artist Rob Liefeld. The team made its debut as a backup feature in the 1987 RAMM #1 before the next month appearing in the one-shot ''Megaton Explosion'' #1 before later appearing in 1992 in its own ongoing series as the flagship publication for Image Comics.
