Blood Surf
''Blood Surf'' (also known by its original title, Krocodylus) is a 2000 horror film directed by James D.R. Hickox. It was released in the United States on June 26, 2001 but was released earlier in some countries. The plot is about a group of friends who hit upon the idea of blood surfing: spreading chum in the water in order to attract sharks, then hopping on a surfboard and riding through the middle of the pack. As they are filming their promotional documentary, the fun gets interrupted by a long saltwater crocodile that begins attacking everyone in the expedition. The film was the last film released by Trimark Pictures before it was folded into Lions Gate Entertainment. Plot The film opens with John's vision of screaming people in the water and being killed by something under the water. Sam Bernard (born Samuel Barnett, 5 June 1863 – 16 May 1927) was an English-born American vaudeville comedian who also performed in musical theatre, comic opera and burlesque and appeared in a few silent films. Life and career Bernard was born in Birmingham, England, and moved to the United States as a child. He began performing a song and dance act with his brother Dick in variety houses in Manhattan, changing their stage name from Barnett as they considered the name Bernard more "ethnic". David Weisman
David Weisman (March 11, 1942 – October 9, 2019) was an American film producer, author, and graphic artist, most noted for his films ''Ciao! Manhattan'' and ''Kiss of the Spider Woman''. He was the brother of film director Sam Weisman. Film career After one viewing of ''La Dolce Vita'' (1960), Weisman dropped out of Syracuse University's School of Fine Arts to design film-posters in Rome — where, by learning fluent Italian, he managed to meet Federico Fellini, create the poster for Otto e mezzo ( 8 1/2) and work for Pier Paolo Pasolini. In the mid-1960s, Weisman worked as Otto Preminger's assistant and designed the graphics and title sequence for his 1967 Paramount Production, ''Hurry Sundown''.
