Blood Diner
''Blood Diner'' is a 1987 American horror comedy directed by Jackie Kong and starring Rick Burks, Carl Crew, Roger Dauer, LaNette LaFrance, and Lisa Guggenheim. It was written by Michael Sonye. The plot follows two brothers setting up a restaurant as a front for them to kill women and collect their severed body-parts to summon forth the Lumerian goddess Sheetar. The film was originally conceived to be a sequel to ''Blood Feast'', but it was then changed to be a standalone film of its own. Although general reception towards the film has been mixed, it has become a cult film since its release. Plot Two brothers, Michael Tutman ( Rick Burks) and George Tutman ( Carl Crew) are brainwashed by their serial killer uncle Anwar Namtut (Drew Godderis) into completing his task of resurrecting the ancient Lumerian goddess Sheetar (Tanya Papanicolas). Carl Crew
Carl Albert Crew (born August 2, 1961) is an American actor, screenwriter, author, artist and co-proprietor of the North Hollywood nightclub California Institute of Abnormalarts. Biography ;Film Raised in a repertory theatre troupe, Crew spent much of his young life acting and traveling the country in numerous stage productions until the age of 18, when he became an apprentice embalmer for a Marin County mortuary, an occupation he held for four years before deciding to further pursue a career in acting. Crew landed his first major role in the 1987 cult horror comedy ''Blood Diner'', where Crew played the co-leading role of homicidal chef and wrestling enthusiast George Tutman, for which he was allegedly only paid $250. Jackie Kong is an American screenwriter, film producer, and film director known for the cult horror film ''Blood Diner''. Biography Jackie Kong began her foray in Horror Comics 2022, adding Comic Book Creator to her list of accomplishments. Ms. Kong delivered Issue #1 of “Spend The Night” to Kickstarter Backers who funded the first book in October 2021. Kong wrote 20 Issues during the pandemic to be produced through Kong Comics. Issue #2 is in the works September 2022. Kong will make appearances in NYC October 2022 at NY Comic Con, and signing at Forbidden Planet to kick off the national release of “Spend the Night” Issue #1- “The Curse of One-Eyed Jenny” to Comic Book stores nation wide. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television.
