A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which players attempt to answer questions correctly on one or several specific topics. Quizzes can be used as a brief Educational assessment, assessment in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, or skills. They can also be televised for entertainment purposes, often in a game show format. Personality Test
A personality test is a method of assessing human personality constructs. Most personality assessment instruments (despite being loosely referred to as "personality tests") are in fact introspective (i.e., subjective) self-report questionnaire (Q-data, in terms of LOTS data) measures or reports from life records (L-data) such as rating scales. Attempts to construct actual performance tests of personality have been very limited even though Raymond Cattell with his colleague Frank Warburton compiled a list of over 2000 separate objective tests that could be used in constructing objective personality tests. FunTrivia is a trivia website. It was the first trivia website added to the Yahoo directory and used to be the largest trivia site on the web in terms of traffic. It was one of the first entertainment sites on the web to use a community-generated content model to create all of its content. It contains over one million trivia questions in over one hundred and forty thousand quizzes categorized into nearly sixteen thousand topics, all submitted by over four thousand different contributors. Quizzes are created and submitted by members of the community and placed online for anyone to play for free. New submissions are checked by category editors before being published, and prior accepted submissions may be modified without editor intervention. Sporcle is a trivia website and pub quiz business. On April 23, 2007, Sporcle was launched as an online trivia website which allows users to play quizzes on a range of subjects using the web or a mobile device. Sporcle began offering live pub quizzes in 2018 and has since expanded to host over 450 weekly game nights. Quizlet is a multi-national American company that provides tools for studying and learning. It was founded by Andrew Sutherland in October 2005 and released to the public in January 2007. Revision Quiz Maker
Topgrade is a multi-platform learning system run by Sureware Ltd. It was originally launched as an iOS app, called Revision Quiz Maker, but subsequently expanded to include an Android app and an online site, and rebranded as Topgrade. Functionality As a learning environment, Topgrade lets registered users create quizzes and flashcards specific to their own courses as well as playing quizzes made by others. Learning resources can be shared across Apple, Android and Windows devices by using the online site. Development A new native Android quiz maker app was released on 24 January 2016. An Android course maker app was released on 12 December 2017 with the iOS equivalent due for release in 2018.
