''Blessings'' (Chinese: 祖先保佑) is a time-travelling drama series produced by MediaCorp Studios and aired on MediaCorp Channel 8. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8am the following day. The series stars Shaun Chen, Chen Hanwei, Yao Wenlong, Yvonne Lim, Jesseca Liu and Sora Ma as the main characters of the series. The series is producer Kwek Leng Soong's final drama series before she left MediaCorp in August 2015. A sequel, ''Blessings 2'' was produced and first aired on 1 October 2018. Plot Set in 1948 during Colonial Singapore and then modern Singapore, this drama pits the traditional way against the modern. The story evolves around a popular traditional pastry shop called ''Xi Ji''. Shaun Chen
Shaun Chen (; born 3 November 1978) is a Malaysian actor and former national badminton player who is based in Singapore. He started as a host for the variety show ''City Beat'' alongside Sharon Au, Jeff Wang and Fiona Xie. In 2003, he made his debut acting in '' True Heroes'' and '' Holland V''. He received his first award, the Rocket Award, at the Star Awards 2015. He starred as the lead character in both '' Blessings'' and '' The Journey: Tumultuous Times''. World at Your Feet (球在你脚下) is a Singapore MediaCorp Channel 8 television series produced in 2014, which premiered on 14 May 2014. It stars Ha Yu, Tay Ping Hui, Jeanette Aw, Elvin Ng, Zhang Zhenhuan and Yvonne Lim as the main casts of the series. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays. Chase Tan (; birthdate: 1 April 1990) is a Singaporean actor and basketball player who plays for the SBPHK Hornets in the Singapore National Basketball League and the Singapore national basketball team.
