Sp.Vg. Blau-Weiß 1890 Berlin, generally referred to as Blau-Weiß 90, was a German association football club based in the Mariendorf district of Berlin. The club was formed on 27 July 1927 out of the merger of ''Berliner FC Vorwärts 1890'' (November 1890), German championship runner-up of 1921, and ''Berliner Thor- und Fussball Club Union 1892'' (''BTuFC Union'', June 1892), German champions of 1905. Blau-Weiß 90 spent one season in the German first division, the Bundesliga. History Predecessors Predecessor sides ''Vorwärts'' and ''Union'' were both founding members of the German Football Association at Leipzig in 1900. SpVg Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin is a German football club based in the locality of Mariendorf in the borough of Tempelhof-Schöneberg in Berlin. The team is currently playing in the NOFV-Oberliga (V). History SpVg Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin's predecessor club, SpVgg Blau-Weiß 1890 Berlin, was declared bankrupt and folded on 28 June 1992. As a result, then-named SV Blau Weiss Berlin was established as an indirect successor club, similar to SV Tasmania-Gropiusstadt 1973. The team entered into the lowest possible local league, the 3. Markos Rainer Rauffmann (born 26 February 1967) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. After having played mainly for modest clubs in his country of birth, Germany, he revived his career in Cyprus where he played with success for Omonia, eventually representing the Cyprus national team despite having already reached his 30s. Club career Germany Born in Kleve, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rauffmann moved at the age of 16 to FC Amberg, a local team playing in the Oberliga, but only managed to stay a season there before moving to the seventh level. After five years in the amateur leagues he returned to the club, now as a semi-professional. Selçuk Yula (November 8, 1959 – August 6, 2013) was a Turkish football player and topscorer. Professional career Yula started his career in the Ankara club Şekerspor. His transfer to Fenerbahçe at the age of 19, had been a milestone in his career, where he became twice league topscorer with 16 goals in 1982, with 19 goals in 1983, and he won two league titles with Fenerbahçe, where he scored a total of 134 goals. René Vandereycken (born 22 July 1953) is a Belgian football manager and a former player. He was the head coach of the Belgium national team from 1 January 2006 to 7 April 2009. Club career Vandereycken was born in Spalbeek. He played for Club Brugge, Genoa and Anderlecht. International career As a player, he got 50 caps and scored three goals for the Belgium national team, and represented Belgium at the Euro 1980, in the final of which he scored a penalty. Karl-Heinz Riedle (; born 16 September 1965) is a German former professional footballer who played as a striker. Despite not being particularly tall, he was nicknamed "Air" throughout his career, due to his notable heading accuracy, jumping and timing skills in the air, as well as his ability to make runs into the box and get on the end of crosses, and made a name for himself as a traditional yet well-rounded and prolific centre forward.
