''Blanfordia'' is a genus of terrestrial gastropod mollusks in the family (biology), family Pomatiopsidae. They are land snails which have an operculum (gastropod), operculum. The Genus, generic name ''Blanfordia'' is in honor of English naturalist William Thomas Blanford.
