Bland Skurkar, Helgon Och Vanligt Folk
''Bland skurkar, helgon och vanligt folk'' (''Among villains, saints and ordinary folk'') is a live album recorded during a 1999 Swedish summer tour of the same name, by the band Bland skurkar, helgon och vanligt folk. It includes tracks by Stefan Sundström, Lars Winnerbäck, Johan Johansson, Karin Renberg, and Kjell Höglund, who made up the band. The album was released by Birdnest Records on 25 October 1999. It contained songs from three concerts. The band made its debut on 24 May 1999 at Kulturhuset (Studion stage) in Stockholm. They then went on to tour various festivals that summer, ending the tour in Örebro on 21 August. They were awarded the jury award at the Expressen Livegadden Gala in 1999. Stefan Sundström
Stefan Sundström is a Swedish singer/songwriter and troubadour. After dropping out of school, he started playing in small bands such as Trots, Läppstars and Apache, which later went on to become Weeping Willows. Lars Winnerbäck
Lars Mattias Winnerbäck (born 19 October 1975 in Stockholm) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He was born in Stockholm but spent his childhood in Vidingsjö, Linköping, where he attended Katedralskolan. He moved back to Stockholm in 1996, the same year he released his first album, '' Dans med svåra steg''. He is now one of Sweden's most popular artists. The influence of songwriters like Carl Michael Bellman, Evert Taube, Bob Dylan, Ulf Lundell and Cornelis Vreeswijk shines through in Winnerbäck's exclusively Swedish lyrics, which deal with shallowness, prejudice in society, as well as romance, relationships and anxiety. Several songs depict the difference between living in small town Linköping and the capital Stockholm. Johan Johansson (musician)
Johan Georg Johansson (born April 23, 1961 in Stockholm) is a writer and musician (drums, guitar, bass, vocal). He is most famous for his time as songwriter and drummer for the Swedish punk-rock band KSMB. Biography In 2008, Johansson was awarded the ''Svenska Vispriset'', an annual prize which is awarded to a person or organisation for developing and furthering the art of folk singing, by ''Riksförbundet Visan i Sverige''. He and his family moved from Hornsgatan to Hagsätra during his birth year. In 1970 he moved to Skärholmen in Stockholm. Johan has one child named Frans, with the writer Nina Lekander. Kjell Höglund
Kjell Höglund (born 8 December 1945 in Östersund, Sweden) is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Höglund, who found his musical breakthrough in the 1970s, is in his native country renowned for his mixture of Realism (arts), realism, absurdism and surrealism. In 1992 he was nominated for a Grammis award for best male pop. Kjell Höglund has also published books with esoteric and pseudo-scientific content. Many of Höglund's beliefs presented in these works are similar to those of the Danish new age mystic Martinus Thomsen, Martinus. Birdnest Records
Birdnest Records is a Swedish record company mainly dealing in punk music. History It was founded by Per Granberg who also plays in Charta 77. The company was founded as a DIY company with the intention of only publishing Granberg's own records in 1982, under the name ''Birdskit''. After a while Birnest also took on other bands, mostly in the trallpunk genre, and in 1988 they changed the name to Birdnest. When trallpunk became popular in the early 1990s the company grew. Notable bands are Dia Psalma and De lyckliga kompisarna. During the same period several smaller record companies were distributed by Birdnest (among them ''Desperate Fight Records'' from Umeå). In the late 1990s the company suffered from restructurings at MNW who they had shared distribution with. Birdnest managed to straighten out the finances thanks to a support gala for the company. ''Expressen'' (''The Express'') is one of two nationwide evening newspapers in Sweden, the other being '' Aftonbladet''. House of Culture (Swedish: Kulturhuset) is a cultural center situated to the south of Sergels torg in central Stockholm, Sweden. ''Nerikes Allehanda'' (shortened ''NA'') is a daily newspaper based in Örebro, Sweden, and distributed across Örebro County. It was founded in 1843 as a weekly paper and became a daily in 1894. Carl-Einar Häckner, also ''Charlie Häckner'', (born 8 October 1969) is a Swedish illusionist, actor and comedian. Early life Häckner was born in Nol, Ale Municipality and raised in Gårdsten, Angered, a suburb of Gothenburg. He fell in love with magic during his early childhood years after he received a magic set. At the age of eleven he held his first public performance. He met up with Max Milton, who became his mentor and influenced his artistic direction. While Häckner was still in upper secondary school he studied economics and when he finished, started a career as an illusionist under the name ''Wic Mack''. Career Häckner performed all across Sweden and abroad. He has performed in a long-running variety show at Liseberg in Gothenburg where acrobats and tightrope artists usually perform.
