Blanco y Negro Music (short Blanco y Negro translated from Spanish "Black and White") is a Spanish record label which was founded in 1978. It is one of the leading dance music record companies in Spain. On January 17, 1983, Blanco y Negro Music became a record label, founded by Félix Buget. It is considered by the media as the pioneer of EDM in Spain. The company is also specialized in film and video productions. It presents artists, like Pitbull, Shaggy, DJ BoBo, SASH! and Guru Josh. African-American music is an umbrella term covering a diverse range of music and musical genres largely developed by African Americans and their culture. Armando Christian Pérez (born January 15, 1981), known professionally by his stage name Pitbull, is an American rapper and businessman. He began his career in the early 2000s, recording reggaeton, Latin hip hop, and crunk music under a multitude of labels. In 2004, he released his debut album ''M.I.A.M.I.'' under TVT Records and the executive production of Lil Jon. Orville Richard Burrell CD (born October 22, 1968), better known by his stage name Shaggy, is a Jamaican-American reggae rapper, singer, and songwriter who scored hits with the songs "It Wasn't Me", " Boombastic", "In The Summertime", "Oh Carolina", and "Angel". He has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, winning twice for Best Reggae Album with ''Boombastic'' in 1996 and ''44/876'' with Sting in 2019, and has won the Brit Award for International Male Solo Artist in 2002. Paul Walden (6 June 1964 – 28 December 2015), better known as Guru Josh, was a Jersey musician, active in the British post-acid house scene, best known for his debut single "Infinity". Biography Musical career Walden was the son of a Jersey dentist, Harold Walden. After studying dentistry himself in 1981, he began his career as an entertainer and keyboard player at the Sands nightclub in Jersey, performing under the name of Syndrone and Animal and his Crazy Organs.
