Blair Cottrell
Blair Cottrell (born November 1989) is an Australian far-right extremist, often described as a neo-Nazi. He is the former chairman and founding member of the United Patriots Front (UPF) and the Lads Society. He has been convicted of several charges, including stalking, arson, steroid dealing and burglary, and has spent time in prison. Political leaning Cottrell has right-wing extremist views, he has been described by numerous media outlets and Australia's former Race Discrimination Commissioner, Tim Soutphommasane, as a neo-Nazi. He has been convicted of charges of inciting hatred against communities. United Patriots Front
The United Patriots Front (UPF) was an Australian far-right extremist group that opposed immigration, multiculturalism and the religion of Islam. Formed in 2015, the group has been largely dormant since their Facebook page was deleted following the 2019 Christchurch mosque shootings. Based in the state of Victoria (Australia), Victoria, UPF was a Nationalism, nationalist group that formed following a schism in the anti-Islamic Reclaim Australia group, the group has been described by a number of media outlets and journalists as a hate group. The group also had an anti-semitism agenda and several members were neo-Nazis. Linwood Islamic Centre
The Linwood Islamic Centre is a Sunni Islam mosque in Linwood, New Zealand, Linwood, Christchurch, New Zealand. The mosque opened in early 2018 on the grounds of the former Christchurch Bahai Centre and the building had most recently been the Linwood Community Centre. The building was formerly a Sunday School Hall in Highstead Road and was moved to Linwood in the late 1980s. It was the second mosque to open in Christchurch. It is owned by the Linwood Islamic Charitable Trust, which was founded in 2017. On 15 March 2019, the Linwood Islamic Centre and the Al Noor Mosque, Christchurch, Al Noor Mosque were targeted in the Christchurch mosque shootings.
