Blackpink Arena Tour 2018 was the first Japanese concert tour by South Korean girl group Blackpink. The tour was held in Japan, from July 24 to December 24, 2018, to promote their first Japanese extended play ''Blackpink''. Background Six shows were initially scheduled. An extra show was later in Chiba added due to overwhelming demand. On July 7, the final stop of the tour was added for December 24 at Kyocera Dome Osaka. Blackpink (, commonly stylized in all caps or as BLɅϽKPIИK) is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. Wonder Girls () was a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group debuted in February 2007 with the single "Irony" and 5 members: Yeeun, Sunye, Sunmi, Hyuna and Sohee. YGEX is a Japanese record label. A subsidiary of the Avex Group, it is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
