Black Vulcan
Black Vulcan is an African-American superhero on the animated series ''Super Friends'' created by Hanna-Barbera, voiced by Buster Jones. Fictional character biography Black Vulcan debuted on the Super Friends show (''The All-New Super Friends Hour'') in September 1977. Unlike most of the Super Friends, Black Vulcan was not a pre-existing DC Comics character. This is particularly notable since DC Comics' roster did include an African American superhero with electricity-based powers, Black Lightning, who could not be used on the show due to disputes between DC and Black Lightning's creator Tony Isabella. Alex Toth
Alexander Toth (June 25, 1928 – May 27, 2006) was an American cartoonist active from the 1940s through the 1980s. Toth's work began in the American comic book industry, but he is also known for his animation designs for Hanna-Barbera throughout the 1960s and 1970s. His work included ''Super Friends'', ''Fantastic Four'', ''Space Ghost'', '' Sealab 2020'', ''The Herculoids'' and '' Birdman''. Aquaman
Aquaman is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, the character debuted in '' More Fun Comics'' #73 (November 1941).
