Black Siddha
''Black Siddha'' is a comic series created by Pat Mills and published in the British anthology ''Judge Dredd Megazine''. The story revolves around a super-powered Deva knight, Mardaka (literally "who crushes" or "who makes suffer"), who is "known and feared as the ''Black Siddha''".''Judge Dredd Megazine'' #202 Synopsis ''Black Siddha'' centers on Rohan, a young Hindu British Asian, who is revealed to be a reincarnation of the titular character, a brutal warrior who enjoyed killing but nevertheless held to a chivalric code. Pat Mills
Patrick Eamon Mills (born 1949) is an English comics writer and editor who, along with John Wagner, revitalised British boys comics in the 1970s, and has remained a leading light in British comics ever since. He has been called "the godfather of British comics". His comics are notable for their violence and anti-authoritarianism. He is best known for creating '' 2000 AD'' and playing a major part in the development of ''Judge Dredd''. Biography Mills started his career as a sub-editor for D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd, where he met Wagner. In 1971 both left to go freelance, and were soon writing scripts for IPC's girls' and humour comics. After D.C. Thomson launched ''Warlord'', a successful war-themed weekly, Mills was asked in 1975 to develop a rival title for IPC. Finn (comics)
Finn is a fictional pagan warlock eco-terrorist created by Pat Mills. He first appeared in British fortnightly anthology comic ''Crisis'' in 1989 in the strip ''Third World War'' and later moved to an eponymous series in '' 2000 AD'' after ''Crisis'' was cancelled in 1991. Publication history The character was popular but the series ended in 1996. According to David Bishop the reason the character was suspended was due to concerns that he was in danger of duplicating the appeal of Mills's '' Sláine''. Mills has speculated that part of the reason was because some readers were complaining in the letters page about Finn "being a sinister witch and saying his authentic pagan practices were a bad example to readers". Urumi (Malayalam: ''uṟumi''; Sinhalese: ''ethunu kaduwa''; Hindi: ''āra'') is a sword with a flexible, whip-like blade, originating in modern-day Kerala in the Indian subcontinent. It is thought to have existed from as early as the Sangam period. It is treated as a steel whip and therefore requires prior knowledge of that weapon as well as the sword.
