Black Motion
Black Motion is a South African house duo from Soshanguve, Gauteng, founded in 2010. The group is composed of Bongani Robert Mahosana (former), Roy Thabo Mabogwane and Kabelo Koma. History Black Motion was formed in 2010, by DJ Murda (born Robert Mahosana), and Thabo (born Roy Thabo Mabogwane) they are from Soshanguve. That same year, they joined Faimos Entertainment and released their first single "Banane Mavoko" featuring Jah Rich, which gained them international recognition. Their debut album ''Talking to the Drums'' was released in 2011. Their third studio album ''Fortune Teller'' was released in 2014. The album was certified gold in South Africa. At the 21st ceremony of South African Music Awards ''Fortune Teller'' won Best Dance Album. In 2016, they signed a record deal with Sony and began working on their fourth studio album. Soshanguve
Soshanguve is a Township (South Africa), township situated about 30 km north of Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa along Mabopane, and Ga-Rankuwa. The name Soshanguve is an acronym for Sotho, Shangaan, Nguni and Venda, thus showing the multi-ethnic composition of the population. The major African languages of South Africa are heard in Soshanguve. History The acronym divided the Soshanguve residents according to their tribe when they were resettled from Mamelodi and Atteridgeville in 1974. While this was to make admin easy for the apartheid government, it left a community divided and suspicious of each other. Sanele Tresure Sithole (born 28 March 1989), known professionally as Sun-El Musician, is a South African disc jockey, music producer, and songwriter. Born and raised in Mooi River. He attended University of KwaZulu-Natal but dropped out to purse a career in music. His debut studio album '' Africa to the World'' (2018), which was certified gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA). He was a producer for Demor Music before the establishment of his own record label EL World Music. His most recent album ''African Electronic Dance Music'' was released in October 2021. Graskop
Graskop is a small town in Mpumalanga province, South Africa. It was set up in the 1880s as a gold mining camp but it now serves as a tourist destination and the timber industry. “ God’s Window”, a scenic view from the escarpment of the Lowveld below, is located outside the town. Graskop is also home to one of the biggest mounds of sawdust in the world, located in the eastern side of Graskop. Tourists regularly come to see the attraction and pay up to ZAR50 for the chance to see the one of the biggest, stable sawdust piles in the world. Small bags are available to collect souvenirs. The 27th Annual South African Music Awards were the 27th edition of the South African Music Awards. The award show was broadcast live on SABC 1 on July 31, 2021 and was held virtually due to the effects of COVID-19 lockdowns. The nominees were announced on 19 May 2021. Kabza De Small received the most nominations with six, ahead of Sun-El Musician with five nominations. The 27th annual SAMAs introduced new categories, introducing best amapiano, gqom and kwaito albums as their own categories. Mukengerwa Tresor Riziki (born 24 April 1987), best known by his stage name TRESOR, is a Congolese-born singer, songwriter, music producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He gained prominence in 2015 after releasing his single "Mount Everest" from his debut album, ''VII''. His name "Tresor", when translated from French, means "treasure".
