Black Lung Disease
Coal workers' pneumoconiosis (CWP), also known as black lung disease or black lung, is an occupational type of pneumoconiosis caused by long-term exposure to coal dust. It is common in coal miners and others who work with coal. It is similar to both silicosis from inhaling silica dust and asbestosis from inhaling asbestos dust. Inhaled coal dust progressively builds up in the lungs and leads to inflammation, fibrosis, and in worse cases, necrosis. Coal workers' pneumoconiosis, severe state, develops after the initial, milder form of the disease known as anthracosis (from the Greek , or —coal, carbon). This is often asymptomatic and is found to at least some extent in all urban dwellers due to air pollution. Thomas Henning (born 26 January 1984) is an Australian writer, director, producer and artist working in theatre and film. He was co-founder and co-director of the Black Lung theatre company, known also as The Black Lung Theatre and Whaling firm along with Thomas Wright. From 2009 until 2010, Thomas Henning worked on several projects with Hayloft Theatre. From 2013 until 2020, Thomas Henning has worked on several projects with TerryandTheCuz productions. In 2013 and 2014, Thomas Henning worked at Arte Moris, free art school in Timor-Leste, in the role of artist liaison. Snog (band)
Snog is a band that was formed by Australian musician Dee Thrussell, along with fellow art school friends Tim McGrath and Julia Bourke in 1989. The band's music is a fusion of many different styles, including industrial, techno, ambient, experimental, funk and country music. The band name is a reference to "kissing and cuddling". History Snog's first album ''Lies Inc.'' was released in 1992 and Pieter Bourke, who has since worked with Dead Can Dance and Lisa Gerrard, joined the band soon afterwards. The second album ''Dear Valued Customer'', which drew heavily on techno influences, was then released in 1994. Also in 1994, the side projects Soma (Thrussell and Pieter Bourke) and Black Lung. The Dead South
The Dead South is a folk- bluegrass musical ensemble based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The band was initially formed in 2012 as a quartet by Nate Hilts (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Scott Pringle (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Danny Kenyon (cello, vocals) and Colton Crawford (banjo). Crawford left the band in 2015 and was replaced by studio musician Eliza Mary Doyle for several years. Crawford re-joined the band starting with the Voices In Your Head tour in mid-2018. The band played live venues before releasing their debut five-song 2013 EP, ''The Ocean Went Mad and We Were to Blame''. Their 2014 album ''Good Company'' was released by German label Devil Duck Records, and led to significant overseas touring for the next two years. ''Life Won't Wait'' is the fourth studio album by the American punk rock band Rancid. It was released on June 30, 1998 through Epitaph Records. It was released as the follow-up to '' ...And Out Come the Wolves'' (1995).
