Bjørn Ousland
Bjørn Ousland (born 14 May 1959) is a Norwegian illustrator, children's writer and comics writer. His breakthrough was the album An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. Albums of recorded sound were developed in the early 20th century as individual 78 rpm records co ... series ''Solruns saga'' from 1988 to 1993. Among his later albums are ''Mumle Gåsegg'' from 1999, ''Soria Moria slott'' from 2000, and ''Grimsborken'' from 2002, all adapted from Norwegian fairy tales. Frankfurt Book Fair
The Frankfurt Book Fair (German: Frankfurter Buchmesse, FBM) is the world's largest trade fair for books, based on the number of publishing companies represented. It is considered to be the most important book fair in the world for international deals and trading. The five-day annual event in mid-October is held at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The first three days are restricted exclusively to professional visitors; the general public attend the fair on the weekend. Several thousand exhibitors representing book publishing, multimedia and technology companies, as well as content providers from all over the world gather in order to negotiate international publishing rights and license fees. The Brage Prize (Norwegian: ''Brageprisen'') is a Norwegian literature prize that is awarded annually by the Norwegian Book Prize foundation (''Den norske bokprisen''). Children's literature or juvenile literature includes stories, books, magazines, and poems that are created for children. Modern children's literature is classified in two different ways: genre or the intended age of the reader. Children's literature can be traced to traditional stories like fairy tales, that have only been identified as children's literature in the eighteenth century, and songs, part of a wider oral tradition, that adults shared with children before publishing existed. Jon Ewo ( born 29 June 1957) is a Norwegian novelist, short story writer, crime fiction writer and children's writer. He was born in Oslo and educated as librarian. He made his literary debut in 1986 with the short story collection ''Det sies at oktober er en fin måned''. His crime novels include ''Torpedo'' (1996), ''Hevn. Torpedo II'' (1997) and ''Gissel. Torpedo III'' (1998).
