Bjørg Andersen
Bjørg Andersen (born 15 June 1942) is a Norwegian handball player, who played for the clubs Skjeberg IF, Østsiden IL and Lisleby FK. She won the Norwegian championship in indoor handball in 1969, and the Norwegian outdoor championship in 1964, 1966 and 1968. She played 143 matches on the Norway women's national handball team from 1960 to 1977. She participated at the 1971, 1973 and 1975 World Women's Handball Championships. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. Skjeberg IF
Skjeberg is a district of Sarpsborg, Østfold County, Norway. Skjeberg was formerly a municipality in Østfold County. The last administrative centre was at Borgenhaugen. As of 2018, Skjeberg has a population of 1,397. The parish of Skjeberg was established as a municipality on January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The property, Hagelund, with 8 inhabitants was moved to the Halden municipality on January 1, 1968. Østsiden Idrettslag Fredrikstad is a Norwegian sports club, based in the city of Fredrikstad. The men's football team currently plays in the Norwegian second division. The club was formed as Østsiden IL on 14 June 1935, and includes football and handball branches. The name "Østsiden Idrettslag Fredrikstad" was introduced after a merge between Østsiden IL and the handball club Fredrikstad HK on 29 November 2007. Notable former players on Østsiden IL's male football team include Jørn Andersen and Egil Olsen. The Norway women's national handball team represents Norway at international handball competitions, and is governed by the Norges HÃ¥ndballforbund (NHF). Jørn Andersen
Jørn Andersen (born 3 February 1963), sometimes written as Jörn, is a Norwegian-German Association football, football manager and former player. He is the head coach of the Hong Kong national football team, Hong Kong national team. Club career Norway Born in Fredrikstad, Andersen's career started at local team Østsiden IL, Østsiden where he remained until 1982. Subsequently, he moved to Fredrikstad FK, Fredrikstad and netted seven goals in 43 Tippeligaen, Norwegian Premier League appearances.
