Björgvin Halldórsson
Björgvin Helgi Halldórsson (Alternate names: Bó Halldórsson, Björgvin Halldórsson or Bó Hall) (born 16 April 1951) is an Icelandic pop singer from Hafnarfjörður. He represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 with the song '' Núna'' (English: Now), ranked in 15th place with 31 points. Björgvin performed with Sigrún Hjálmtýsdóttir, amongst others, and released several solo albums. Björgvin took part in several TV shows. Anna Mjöll Ólafsdóttir is an Icelandic jazz singer and songwriter. Early years Anna was born in Reykjavík, Iceland, the daughter of Svanhildur Jakobsdóttir, singer and TV and Radio Personality, and Ólafur Gaukur, Jazz guitarist, Film Composer, songwriter, arranger and Producer. Anna's only sibling, Andri, is a General Surgeon in Arizona. Anna's parents played six nights a week in her early years. They toured every summer bringing in dancers, fire eaters and magicians from England. Anna began studying guitar herself at the age of six, followed by piano and cello. She wrote and performed her first song when she was eight. In high school she performed jazz numbers on her cello and at 18 she started singing professionally in local restaurants. Iceland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 by Sigga with the song "Nætur". Before Eurovision Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins 1994 The Icelandic broadcaster opted to change the format of the final compared to the previous years, due to the cost of a ten-song final being considered extremely high and being able to put in more effort in the final version of the song. The final was held on 23 February 1994 at the RÚV studios in Reykjavík, hosted by Hermann Gunnarsson. 3 songs competed, with the winner being selected by an "expert" jury, consisting of: Hermanns Gunnarssonar, Á tali and Hemma Gunn. Only the winner was announced. The winner was "Nætur" performed by Sigrún Eva Ármannsdóttir. Jón Ragnar Jónsson (born 30 October 1985 in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland) is an Icelandic singer songwriter and a former soccer player. He was signed by Epic Records and has released three albums, ''Wait for Fate'' (2011), ''Heim'' (2014), and ''Lengi lifum við'' (2021). Life and career Jón has been a performer since the age of 10. He is a native of Iceland. His brother is pop singer Friðrik Dór. He started music in his local music school in Iceland and took part in productions in high school and college.
