Bjorn Haneveer
Bjorn Haneveer (born 4 September 1976 in) is a Belgian snooker player and commentator. Haneveer, formerly a professional competitor, now plays at semi-professional level and also commentates on snooker matches for Dutch Eurosport. Career A six-time Belgian snooker champion (last title won in May 2007 vs Patrick Delsemme), Haneveer lost in the final of the European Championship in Scotland in June, 2000. Ian McCulloch (snooker Player)
Ian McCulloch (born 28 July 1971) is an English former professional snooker player from Walton-Le-Dale, Preston, Lancashire. He is known for his ability to grind opponents down through protracted safety exchanges and disjointed breakbuilding. He compiled 105 century breaks in his career. Career McCulloch turned professional in 1992, and after steadily climbing up the rankings for many years, he reached the quarter-finals of a ranking event for the first time in the 1999 Welsh Open. Steve Lemmens
Steve Lemmens (September 8, 1972 – October 11, 2016) was a Belgian former professional snooker player who played on the main tour between 1991 and 1995. Career Lemmens first burst onto the snooker scene in his home country when at the age of 16 he reached the finals of the Belgian Amateur Championship, a record that would not be beaten until 2010 by Luca Brecel. Three years later in 1990 he won the Belgian Championship after defeating five-time champion Mario Lannoye 7–2 in the final, as a result Lemmens went on to represent Belgium in the 1990 World Amateur Championship where he reached the final eventually losing 11–8 to Irishman Stephen O'Connor. Following on from this success Lemmens turned professional in 1991, in a time where the tour was a largely open affair with over 700 players allowed to compete professionally. Belgian Amateur Championship (snooker)
The Belgian Amateur Championship is an annual snooker competition played in the Belgium and is the highest ranking amateur event in the Belgium. The competition was established in 1984, and was won by Mario Lannoye who would go on to win six of the first eight championships. Lannoye's six championships still stands as a record which he shares with Bjorn Haneveer who won his sixth championship in 2007. Ben Mertens (born 13 October 2004) is a Belgian professional snooker player. He won the World Open Under-16 Snooker Championships in 2018. Career Ben Mertens is from Wetteren. When he was 12 years old, he reached the 2nd round of the 2017 EBSA European Under-18 Snooker Championship. At the 2018 EBSA European Under-18 Snooker Championship he got to the quarter-finals, where he lost to the later champion Jackson Page. He won the Belgian U18 championship in 2018. Alexander Ursenbacher
Alexander Ursenbacher (born 26 April 1996) is a Swiss professional snooker player from Rheinfelden. He is Switzerland's first professional snooker player (former professional Darren Paris represented England, in the mid-1990s, before moving to Switzerland). He is often referred to by the nickname 'The Swiss Fish'. Tony Drago (born 22 September 1965) is a Maltese former professional snooker and pool player. Known for his speed around the table, during his snooker career he won two professional titles: the 1993 Strachan Challenge Event 3 and the 1996 Guangzhou Masters. Barry Pinches (born 13 July 1970 in Catton, Norwich) is an English professional snooker player, recognisable for his bright and flamboyant waistcoats, which usually feature the yellow and green colours of Norwich City F.C. He is a former top 32 player and ranking-event quarter-finalist. He has compiled over 100 century breaks in his career, becoming the 33rd player to have done so. He has also made one maximum break. Stephen Lee (born 12 October 1974) is an English former professional snooker player who is currently serving a 12-year ban from the sport.
