Bjarte Eikeset
Bjarte Erling Eikeset (22 February 1937 – 22 April 2017) was a Norwegian lawyer, judge and politician for the Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative Party. He was born in Førde. He graduated from the University of Oslo with a cand.jur. degree in 1964, and at that institution he was a research assistant from 1964 to 1965 and lecturer from 1965 to 1969. From 1969 to 1980 he worked as a lawyer in Førde, from 1976 with access to Supreme Court of Norway, Supreme Court cases. In 1980 he was promoted to district stipendiary magistrate in Sunnfjord District Court, Sunnfjord. In 1993 he applied, unsuccessfully, for the position as List of County Governors of Sogn og Fjordane, County Governor of Sogn og Fjordane. He remained in Sunnfjord except for the years 1981 to 1983, and in 2004 he moved to the district stipendiary magistrate chair Fjordane District Court, Fjordane. The Conservative Party or The Right ( nb, Høyre, nn, Høgre, , H; se, Olgešbellodat) is a liberal-conservative political party in Norway. It is the major party of the Norwegian centre-right, and was the leading party in government as part of the Solberg cabinet from 2013 to 2021. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Sogn is a traditional district in Western Norway ''(Vestlandet)''. It is located in the county of Vestland, surrounding the Sognefjord, the largest/longest fjord in Norway. Eikefjord
Eikefjord is a former municipality in the Sunnfjord district in the old Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1923 until 1964 when it joined Flora Municipality (now part of Kinn Municipality in Vestland county). The administrative center of the former municipality was the village of Eikefjord, where Eikefjord Church is located. The municipality of Eikefjord was located at the end of the Eikefjorden, about east of the town of Florø. The lake Endestadvatnet was part of the municipality. The municipality encompassed the immediate area around the village of Eikefjord and to the east and south of the village.
